To our beloved patients and the community as a whole:
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that we will be closing our office to anything but emergent appointments starting at the close of business Friday 3/20 and extending through Friday 4/3. These are unprecedented times in our country and the world as a whole as we deal with Covid-19. We love being able to take care of all of your dental needs, but realize the importance of us following the recommendations set forth by the American Dental Association and the Center for Disease Control, as well as a number of other national, state, and local government organizations. We feel that this step is necessary for us to do our part to protect the health of all of our loved ones in Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, and beyond. Following this two week period, utilizing information provided to us by the American Dental Association, Center for Disease Control, and government officials, we will re-evaluate the environment regarding Covid-19 and will determine if we can re-open without negatively impacting the containment of this virus. Please rest assured that during this time should you have a dental emergency, we WILL respond to your call and, should treatment be deemed necessary and appropriate, we will do everything in our power to alleviate your pain. All appointments that are already on the schedule during this time period will be re-scheduled (unless you have been otherwise notified) as we become certain of when we can safely resume seeing patients at full capacity. Due to the uncertainty associated with these unprecedented times, it may be a week or so until we can accomplish this as we do not want to schedule you another appointment only to have to move it again due to a longer than expected halt to our operations. Please know that this was not an easy decision to make at all. These next several weeks will be as difficult for our family here at Jackson Dental, as it will be for the country as a whole. We feel that now more than ever it is important for us to stick together, hold close to our loved ones, and keep faith in God. We will get through this and will come out stronger.
